We faced problems with the paper being fed from our feeding device not printing correctly when used by our customers. We could only guess that some errors might have occurred when the paper was fed. However, we could not confirm this visually because the feeding speed was too high.

By triggering PLEXLOGGER when paper feeding begins, we captured video images of the process and confirmed that paper was fed at a slight inclination.
We discovered that the inclination was caused by the position of the paper holder that adjusts the paper inclination and captured video images again after adjustment and correction of the relevant parts.
Paper inclination was eliminated and printing quality became normal.
Without PLEXLOGGER, we could only improve products on the basis of the observable defects and by depending on the experience and intuition (and confidence) of workers. Now, we use the video images provided by PLEXLOGGER as the basis for the preparation and implementation of our standard manual for defect countermeasures, and this has led to a dramatic reduction in fluctuation in quality with different workers. We visit our customers for after-sales user support with PLEXLOGGER in order to demonstrate the improvements made by showing them the video images captured; this is done to improve their confidence in our products and services. We also visit customers with equipment requiring an overhaul for system maintenance and prevention or prediction of failures with PLEXLOGGER in order to demonstrate that such overhaul services are required. This wide range of applications has been well appreciated by our customers.
This company faced a shortage of experienced and skilled workers earlier; however, now they utilize PLEXLOGGER to instruct and train new workers in addition to providing the practical knowledge based on the experience and intuition of senior workers.
The problem of the device to be monitored operating at such high speeds that defects cannot be detected is becoming very prevalent as various products and facilities become more advanced and complex.
Instantaneous defects such as frequent stopping in high-speed operation lines and devices cannot be captured by conventional video cameras. PLEXLOGGER is equipped with a trigger system that utilizes various waveforms and video to allow any user to easily record events that are conventionally invisible at a maximum speed of 8000 frames/second so that the events can be captured, confirmed, and solved on the site.
